Ages 7-15 (unless otherwise noted) Register and you are automatically accepted into the week-long theater camps—no acting experience necessary. Auditions take place the first day of camp. Rehearsal times will vary by the role, so flexibility for pickup/drop-off times is needed. The full rehearsal schedule is sent out prior to camp.
For ages 8-12Foster your child’s love for nature with this two-day camp combining art and nature. Weather permitting, the class will be held outdoors. We will be using medium from nature to incorporate into art projects such as weaving and printmaking. Held in the Ed Mako Environmental Learning Center.
The Minnesota Highway Safety & Research Center conducts driver safety classes at the Heritage Center. Drivers 55+ may be eligible for a 10% discount on their auto insurance. An 8-hour course is initially required, followed by a 4-hour refresher class every three years. To register, call 1-888-234-1294, and tell them you would like a class in Lakeville.
Mayor Doug Anderson has office hours at City Hall on most Mondays (excluding holidays) from 3 to 5 p.m. Appointments are recommended. To schedule an appointment to speak with the Mayor, call 952-985-4403.
