Volunteer


There are lots of ways to get involved and help your city. Help for a few hours at an event or for the full event; choose the activity and time commitment that's right for you. We appreciate your participation in and assistance with City events. Sign up for a particular event, or for our general volunteer mailing list.

Haunted Forest


Over 100 volunteers help to make the Haunted Forest a tremendous success each year! Volunteers are needed for spooky stations along the Haunted Forest Trail, friendly-costumed characters at the Trick-or-Treat Maze, trail guides, food collections and more! Santa's Secret Store


Help make holiday memories for Lakeville youth. Groups and individual volunteers will help children with gift selection, wrapping and more. Sign up online or download a volunteer packet (PDF) for more information about this annual Lakeville event held in early December.

Ritter Fest


Enjoy a day at Ritter Farm Park while volunteering to help put on a great community event. Both individuals and groups are welcome to volunteer.

Free Family Fun Fest


This family event takes place each April. Volunteers help organize lines for multiple inflatables at this fun event. This volunteer opportunity is perfect for adult/child pairs of volunteers as well as scout groups and individuals. Volunteers can sign up online.

Kids Triathlon


Help make this fun event a safe and enjoyable experience for the youth racers. Volunteers will be stationed at turns to help direct racers and cheer them along. The KayBiRu Kids Triathlon takes place the last Friday in June.
