National Night Out

Sadly, Lakeville Police Department is announcing the cancellation of our October 6, 2020 National Night Out (NNO) festivities. We had rescheduled, from the first Tuesday in August, hoping we could safely hold the celebration. Unfortunately, the COVID-19 pandemic continues. This was a very difficult decision but, in the interest of our citizens' health and safety, we believe the right one.

As a symbol of community, we are encouraging Lakeville citizens to turn on their outdoor lights from 5 to 8 p.m on Tuesday, October 6, 2020. This simple show of neighborhood support will be a reminder of our community’s strength.

Community Food Drive

A food drive for The Open Door and 360 Communities has always been a key piece of NNO. Each summer, food shelves experience a food shortage. With the current COVID-19 pandemic, the need is even greater. We encourage residents to collect non-perishable food items and donate them to help keep individuals, families and our neighborhoods strong and stable. Please consider making a food or financial contribution! Download the flyer below to learn how.

City of Lakeville Police, Fire, elected officials, and other staff who support National Night Out and work diligently to keep Lakeville a safe community look forward to NNO 2021!
