Ole and Sven are gearing up, literally, for the Lodge’s annual 72 Hour Pairs Ice Fishing Marathon contest. Lena is far more interested in attending the “Spruce Up Your Farm House” class being held at the senior center while the contest is going on. The best laid plans can go belly up when nasty winter colds make their way through Potsdam. Will Ole and Sven win the contest this year? Will Lena finally get to make over the farm house? Enjoy this hilarious story of love, family and growing old together. "Hello Dolly" at Orpheum Theatre

One of Broadway's most enduring musicals, "Hello, Dolly" is coming to the Twin Cities. With memorable classics such as “Hello, Dolly,” “Before the Parade Passes By” and “Put on Your Sunday Clothes,” you won't want to miss this classic. Seats are on the main floor of the Orpheum. The Church Basement Ladies in “You Smell Barn”

The Church Basement Ladies are back at it again! With plenty of crazy antics, loads of fresh laughs and brand-spanking new original songs, “You Smell Barn” celebrates rural life in the 1950s. After the last of the hot dish is served, these sturdy women head to their farms, peel off their good girdles and get on with their daily
farm chores. Lunch is a full soup and salad bar with turkey breast, mashed potatoes and gravy, seasonal vegetable, bread and assorted pie. $67/members, $77/non-members. Leave the Heritage Center at 11 a.m. and return at 3:45 p.m. Sign up with payment by Tuesday, Jan. 8.
