Ipava Avenue/165th Street West Mill & Overlay Project

In conjunction with CenterPoint Energy’s gas main replacement through Lakeville, this project will provide a mill and overlay on streets where the new gas main needed to be installed under street sections due to utility conflicts in the corridor. The projects limits include Ipava Avenue from 185th to 165th Street West and along 165th Street West from Ipava Avenue to Kenrick Avenue. Proposed street improvements include mill and overlay pavement rehabilitation techniques coupled with a bituminous underseal and spot replacement of structurally-deficient curb and gutter. Trail and sidewalk improvements include the addition of bringing non-compliant ADA pedestrian ramps within compliance. Storm sewer improvements include the addition and upsizing of select structures to reduce on-street pooling of water during large rain events as well as storm sewer maintenance.
