Project description   Update   Status
Improve Antlers Community Park: Add parking, trail loop system, modern restroom facilities, picnic shelters, volleyball courts and more.   Planning and park design continues with construction to occur in 2023.   In process
Improve Ritter Farm Park: Renovate and expand existing cabin to enhance nature-based programming, including site improvements.   Construction will begin in September 2022 and is scheduled to be completed in early summer of 2023.   In process
Construct outdoor public multi-use pavilion at Hasse Arena: This outdoor refrigerated covered ice rink will allow for programmed and public open skating and hockey, and activities such as boot and pond hockey and outdoor tournaments, in winter months. During the off season, the pavilion would be used for trade shows, community events and concerts, and other large gatherings.   Bids for the ice plant and new outdoor ice rink portion of the project will be awarded at the September 6, 2022 City Council meeting. This portion of the project includes a new refrigeration ice plant to operate both the indoor rink and outdoor rink; the outdoor rink subfloor piping system and rink floor surface; and the rental of a temporary chiller that will allow ice to be maintained inside during the spring, late summer, and fall months while the current ice plant is under construction. The site work and roof structure construction for the project will be re-bid later this fall. The project is still on schedule to begin in the spring of 2023 and will be completed by the end of that  year, provided there are no supply chain problems.   In process
Replace basketball courts   Basketball courts at Bassett, Foxborough, Greenridge, Highview, Hypointe Crossing and Rolling Oaks parks have been replaced.   Completed
Improve the Lakeville Area Arts Center facility   Construction of the Arts Center loading dock and new office space began the week of August 15, 2022. The project is scheduled to be completed by the end of November 2022.   In process
Trail gaps/connectivity: Build new and connect existing trails throughout the City.   Planning and trail design work continues on six segments of trail gaps with construction planned to occur in 2023.   In process
Replace park ID signs   Sign posts and signs have been purchased. Installation of 38-40 ID signs and landscape beds is scheduled to occur fall of 2022 and spring of 2023.   In process
Construct Avonlea Community Park: Includes splash pad, challenge course, pickleball courts, trails, multi-purpose athletic fields, baseball field and playground.   Planning and design proposed to occur in 2023 with construction in 2024.   Future
