Dakota County and the City of Lakeville are partnering on roadway improvements along 179th Street and Dodd Boulevard to improve safety and increase efficiency of the local and regional transportation systems. Construction will take place over two years. 179th Street (future Dakota County Highway 9) will be constructed between Hayes Avenue and Cedar Avenue (Dakota County Highway 23) in 2023.

Dodd Boulevard Modernization
The reconstruction of Dodd Boulevard between Glasgow Avenue and Pilot Knob Road (Dakota County Highway 31) is programmed for 2024. Project design is underway.
